| In
accordance with the mandate, the Institute regularly undertakes
policy-oriented research and consultancy projects for
and/or with the support of the Federal, State and Local
Governments as well as their agencies, private sector
organisations, and international organisations, such as
World Bank, International Development Research Centre
(IDRC) of Canada, MacArthur Foundation and Ford Foundation.
The Institute also organizes conferences, seminars, workshops
and training programmes, provides technical and administrative
support for research networks as part of its efforts to
mobilise the country's research potentials for the task
of national development. |
